Security dominates as U.K. voters head to the polls

U.K. voters face a tough choice Thursday, with national security a major concern following the country’s third terrorattack in three months. The race has gottentighter over the past few weeks, with Prime Minister Theresa May’s initial double-digit lead over left-wing Labour Party candidate Jeremy Corbyn shrinking. A Trump-like upset for underdog Corbyn would guarantee rocky U.K.-U.S. relations. Corbyn has pledged to confront President Trump, while May has committed herself to keeping the “special relationship” between the longtime allies.
